OLDBURY Athletic F.C. Members of the Midland Combination Premier League. After finishing the 2007/08 campaign in 3rd Place in Division One of the midland Combination. Oldbury Athletic were given promotion to the Premier Division and everyone at Athletic sees this as a great opportunity for the Club and relish the challenges ahead. Oldbury Athletic were formed in 1981 and played their football in the local Sunday leagues as Wernley F.C. The Club was run by Colin Mander, who helped to bring huge success to the Club on the Sunday League circuit.  Following this success the Club decided to go into senior Saturday football and joined the midland combination in 2006, in the first season in division two (2006/07) they won the title and promotion to division one. The team is currently managed by Adrian Mander & Russell Boswell-Munday.
